There is a moment no one photographs. Not the bloom at its fullest, not the petal on the floor — but the breath in between, when a flower is still opening even as it begins to let go. This piece lives entirely in that breath. The blossoms hang, lean, unfurl, and surrender all at once, drawn in a single trembling line that refuses to decide whether it is rising or falling.

Because the soul knows this place well. We are always mid-passage — becoming and undoing, arriving and leaving, holding on with one hand while the other opens. Cusp does not ask you to choose a side. It asks you to notice that the space between is not empty. It is where everything actually happens.

The colors do not resolve either — deep greens, midnight blues, a single flush of coral like a pulse that hasn't faded yet. Look long enough and the wilting starts to look like grace. That was always the secret: nothing beautiful stays still, and nothing that moves is ever truly lost.
